Alabama defensive lineman Fatutoa Henry had a career day at Saban Field against Texas A&M last weekend.

The talented fifth-year recorded two sacks and two tackles for loss in what was an extremely impressive performance against the Aggies. Henry was named as the co-SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week following his efforts, and the big man will have an excellent opportunity to continue shining against LSU next weekend.

Henry took a moment to comment on earning co-SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors following today’s practice. The fifth-year senior claims it meant a lot, but he still isn’t satisfied.

“It means a lot, but I wouldn’t say I’m satisfied with it,” Henry said. “Obviously still a long season, still got what, 4, 5 games left? There’s more to earn out there.”

Henry continued to comment on the biggest differences between the Tide’s defensive front last season vs. this year.

“Everybody has the same goal. I wouldn’t say nobody last year was less talented; just this year there are more hungry guys. Everybody wants to eat the same; I’m willing to do whatever I got to do for my brother to eat.”

Henry currently has 7 total tackles and 3.5 sacks through the first 8 weeks of the 2026 season. The talented super senior has emerged in a critical role with a handful of Alabama’s defensive linemen currently sidelined, and Henry will look to shine once again on the road in Baton Rouge next Saturday.
