He did not make the list of XFL players receiving NFL minicamp invites, but AJ McCarron got something special.

He earned Most Valuable Player of the XFL for his performance this season. As a former University of Alabama quarterback, McCarron meant everything to the St. Louis Battlehawks’ offense. He led the league for completion percentage (68.8) and touchdown passes (24). McCarron totaled 2,150 passing yards while his passing touchdowns set a single-season XFL record.

He showed the world he can still play the game at an elite level.
