Seth McLaughlin is one of the most experienced players on Alabama’s offensive line.
He arrived in the Crimson Tide’s 2020 class as a three-star, but he made an impact in 2021.
He played ten games that year, including three starts. McLaughlin became a name for fans to watch in the Southeastern Conference Championship matchup against Georgia. He blocked for 536 total yards — including 421 passing yards and four touchdowns for Bryce Young — against college football’s No. 1 defense in a 41-24 victory over the Bulldogs. McLaughlin earned 913 snaps in 11 games last year. He had eight starts, but he had to split thee responsibility with Darria Dalcourt.
Dalcourt hass more size, but McLaughlin provides more toughness, physicality, and plays with an edge to him.
We will see i fall camp if he solely wins the job at center.
