Terrion Arnold is expected to meet with several teams after clearing waivers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The cornerback is now a free agent.
Arnold was released by the Lions after he was arrested on multiple felony charges, including kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy charges. He was released on a $1 million bond soon after surrendering to a warrant.
Florida Prosecutors filed a motion for Arnold to wear a GPS ankle monitor following the Lions’ release of the cornerback. Arnold’s lawyer responded to the motion, stating that Arnold is expected to be employed by a new NFL team soon.
“In sum, Mr. Arnold is not a flight risk, nor is he a danger to the community,” Harvey Steinberg, Arnold’s lawyer, wrote. “He is confined to his home by both court conditions and media scrutiny and anticipates that he will have employment with another NFL team within 30 days.”
It will be interesting to see where Arnold end up.
