Tua Tagovailoa is in his second season with Mike McDaniel’s offense, and it comes with newness for him.

He entered training camp Wednesday for the Miami Dolphins with a body transformation, a new son, and a married man.

Tagovailoa also arrived to practice with new ink work on his body. He debuted his new sleeve tattoo during his media availability with reporters for the Dolphins. As the former No. 5 overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa explained the significance of the sleeve and how it embodies Samoan culture. It represents his first child and many cultural things, such as guidance and protection.

Tagovailoa said it took three sessions, which equals two and a half days, to complete.
