Are Alabama fans finally getting the defense they want in the fall?
Kevin Steele has a group that wants to unleash hell on college football. After seeing five years of Pete Golding, the Crimson Tide has a defensive coordinator who will put players in a position to propel the program back to a national championship.
Dallas Turner, a junior outside linebacker, had fans happy in his Thursday availability with reporters. The South Florida native said this year’s defense has ‘no limits’ on how dominant it can be. He said everything is there for the group to be an elite unit.
“From what I am seeing in practice, the work we are putting in, the unity and togetherness we have, and the bond we have on and off the field, there is no limit to how good the defense can be,” Turner said.
Turner is seeing a lot of team chemistry, discipline, attention to detail, toughness, and hunger on this defense.
Alabama wants to return as the program that sets the standard in college football.
Turner, a former five-star, collected eight tackles for loss and four sacks last season, but he knows he can do more.
He is in for a monster season, as he eyes the potential of becoming a first-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. Turner is focused on having this defense win a College Football Playoff National Championship in Houston, Texas.
