The New York Giants announced on Tuesday that it would be releasing former Alabama wide receiver Cam Sims.

Sims signed with the Giants practice squad on Sept. 4 but was unable to make his way to the active roster. He will now become a free agent.

Sims originally joined the NFL back in 2018 signing as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins where he would split time on the active roster and practice squad until 2022.

This past offseason Sims signed with the Las Vegas Raiders but was released prior to the season.

In his career, Sims has appeared in 23 games catching 41 passes for 467 yards and two touchdowns.
