6-foot-7 OL Felix Ojo feels Alabama football’s culture is ‘unlike any other’

Alabama’s offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic extended an offer to Felix Ojo Monday during his visit to check out the Crimson Tide.

Ojo attends Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas, and he holds 13 college football offers with recent offers from Alabama and Cal. The culture Alabama football has created is something the sophomore respects a lot.

“It’s great, especially knowing the legacy Alabama holds and the culture they have there is unlike any other,” Ojo told Touchdown Alabama. “It’s awesome knowing that they believe in my talent enough to give me an offer.”

Kapilovic has been recruiting Ojo since he was at Baylor. Ojo’s latest visit to Tuscaloosa allowed him to watch Kapilovic coach up close.

“He’s a great coach that knows what’s he’s doing and while watching him coach in person, I could tell that he really cares into developing players,” Ojo said. “I’ve been building a good relationship with him ever since his time at Baylor to now Alabama.”

At 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, Ojo flashes great potential as an offensive tackle with his size, length, strength and agility. He is confident he can grow into the type of player, who contributes on the offensive line at Alabama.

“I feel like I could be in one of these players shoes one day and have the chance to compete for a national championship,” said Ojo.
