His rookie season did not go according to plan in 2023, but Bryce Young has put that behind him.

He was selected No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career. Young became the first signal-caller in Crimson Tide history to win the Heisman Memorial Trophy in 2021. He recorded 50 total touchdowns, pacing Alabama to a Southeastern Conference Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Things did not work with Frank Reich, but Dave Canales (42 years old) looks to propel Young to having a better sophomore campaign. Canales has to get the talented quarterback marquee help through the NFL Draft. Young needs wide receivers and protection on the offensive line.

He saluted reporters for the Panthers in walking in for day one of offseason training.

Alabama fans are hopeful that Young takes off in year two at Carolina.
