There are several recruiting storylines worth monitoring ahead of the Alabama vs. Georgia game.
The Crimson Tide are hosting a long list of top recruits for the matchup. Several of those recruits are committed to Alabama at the moment. There will also be several prospects in attendance, who the Tide would love to add to their class.

Alabama looking to add more 2025 DL talent
Alabama wants more defensive line talent in its 2025 recruiting class. London Simmons is currently the Crimson Tide’s only 2025 defensive lineman pledge. Three of the Tide’s top 2025 defensive line targets will be in attendance with Joseph Mbatchou, Timothy Griffin and Christian Ingram expected to be in attendance. All three of them have earned offers from the Tide within the last 30 days.

The Tide can make major moves with top 2026 prospects
Some of the nation’s top 2026 prospects will be in attendance. Alabama’s staff is still working on building their relationship with several of these prospects. Anthony Jones and Tyler Atkinson headline this group as talented five-star prospects.

Alabama can put themselves in position to flip 2025 recruits
Alabama is hosting several 2025 recruits, who are committed elsewhere, including former Tide commits, Derick Smith and Jaedon Harmon. Smith is committed to Auburna and Harmon is committed to Tennessee. Alabama is also expected to host Ivan Taylor, who is committed to Michigan and Andrew Olesh, who is also a Michigan commit.
