Jam Miller has suffered an upper-body injury, and he is expected to miss some time, per multiple reports.
It is unclear how long he will be out.
Will Miller of Bama Central was the first to report the news.
The Texas native is expected to be the Crimson Tide’s featured running back. Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb recently raved about the talented back.
“Jam Miller, he’s the man,” Grubb said. “Love that guy. So, Jam’s been doing everything. When you think about a guy like Jam, you love guys that feel like their skillset is not complete. What I mean by that is that Jam really wholeheartedly takes on like, ‘There’s things I can get better at,’ and he works out extremely hard. He’s very diligent about his process. So, he’s a good leader in the room.”
If Miller misses multiple games, the Crimson Tide will have to lean on an inexperienced running back room.
