Alabama football’s sideline during the Crimson Tide’s 31-17 loss to Florida State was described as ‘dead’ by former Alabama quarterback, AJ McCarron.
“We score, and the sideline’s dead,” McCarron said on “The Dynasty Podcast.” “Like, there’s no excitement. It was weird. I just didn’t understand it. There was a quick excitement, then it was just dead. It wasn’t like ‘Hey, we’re going out and proving something right here.’ It was just ‘Hey, kickoff team’ and then ‘defense’ like there was no excitement.”
The Tide’s defensive coordinator Kane Wommack noticed the lack of emotion on the sideline. Wommack referred to the sideline as a living and breathing organism while talking to media members on Monday.
