Alabama football’s defensive back, Bray Hubbard feels the Crimson Tide did not play up to their own standards on defense against Wisconsin.
Hubbard feels this way because the Badgers put points on the board.
“I mean the standard is zero points,” Hubbard said. “At the end of the day, that’s what we’re chasing every week. And I mean that touchdown, we didn’t want that touchdown to happen. We’re all freaking mad about that, but we got to do our job and do our part. And you know in the game, I know you saw coming out of half, we had the penalties on the touchdown, then the kickoff return. We can’t have that. At the end of the day, we got to stay disciplined and locked in. I mean it’s zero-zero coming out of half. That’s the way we look at it. And that’s how we got to play. We got to keep fighting.”
The Badgers’ offense only scored seven points against the Tide’s defense. Wisconsin’s first points came as a result of a kickoff return in the second half.
Hubbard did his part to make sure Alabama’s defense was stifling against the Badgers. He finished the game with five total tackles and three interceptions.
