Kadyn Proctor says Alabama football’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is turning things up a couple of notches this week at practice in efforts to get better execution from the Crimson Tide’s offensive line.
Grubb said he felt his offense exited Alabama’s win over Missouri in Columbia feeling as if they left money on the table from a scoring standpoint due to their lack of offensive execution. The Tide’s offensive line played a role in this. They gave up four sacks against the Tigers and seven
The Tide’s starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor told reporters Tuesday Grubb has been spending a lot of time with the Tide’s offensive line this week.
“Coach Grubb has definitely been on our a** a lot today,” Proctor said. “He’s been around the offensive line a lot today, just getting into us. We have to strain, we have to practice this in practice so that it shows up in the games. I mean it all falls back to your preparation. So today, it was all about straining and physicality and just keep staying on your guy. You can’t let a guy go late. It only takes one guy to mess up one play then you get a tackle for loss. So, that’s what we’ve been focusing on.”
Alabama football’s offensive line aims to be more efficient this weekend.
