On “Hey Coach,” Kalen DeBoer shared some good news about the health of Alabama wideouts, Isaiah Horton and Lotzeir Brooks.
Horton and Brooks will be “good to go” vs. LSU, according to DeBoer. Horton got banged up in the first half of the South Carolina game and did not play in the second half. Brooks did not play against South Carolina as he suffered a lower-body injury in the Tennessee game.
Alabama gets these two players back from injury as Ryan Williams is dealing with an injury of his own. Williams is listed as probable on the Crimson Tide’s initial availability report, so getting Horton and Brooks back will take some of the pressure off of Williams if he is not completely healthy by Saturday.
Horton and Brooks have been great additions to the Alabama offense this season and have stepped up in big games on critical downs. Horton has caught 22 passes for 272 yards and five touchdowns. Brooks is having a solid freshman season as he’s caught 16 passes for 255, and his sideline grab on a fourth down late in the fourth quarter against Missouri drew a lot of attention after Alabama’s 27-24 victory.
