ESPN’S Pete Thamel provided an update on where Alabama football’s quarterback, Ty Simpson is with his pending decision.
Thamel reported Simpson had not made a decision, per his agent.
“Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson hasn’t made a decision yet on what he’ll do in 2026, according to Peter Webb, his sports marketing agent. The NFL looms as the most likely option, but nothing has been decided,” Thamel posted to X.
Simpson has the option to either stay at Alabama, transfer or declare for the NFL Draft. It would be considered a massive surprise if he chose to transfer. Moving on to the NFL or staying at Alabama remains the two most logical choices at the moment.
