Kelby Collins is staying in the SEC and transferring to South Carolina for an opportunity to play alongside his brother, Drew Collins.

Collins played one season with the Crimson Tide before entering the transfer portal for the second time. He transferred to Alabama from Florida before the 2025 football season. The Gators had Collins on their roster for two seasons.

In his three seasons of collegiate ball, the 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive lineman has totaled 40 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. He finished the 2025 season with 10 total tackles and two sacks.

The Alabama native will take on the Tide on Sept. 26 in the next football season.
