Alabama football’s starting quarterback from the 2025 football season Ty Simpson unintentionally sent a message to recruits considering the Crimson Tide at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Simpson used the combine to improve his draft stock, and his stock has reportedly been on the rise since the performance. He also appeared to have given back to Alabama during his time in Indianapolis.
The former five-star shared why he feels it will be smart for any prospect considering Alabama to choose the Tide.
“I think it’s more the fact of like why I went to Alabama,” Simpson said via Jyesha Nance. “Alabama is the best place that gets you prepared for the NFL. I fully believe that. I think with coach (Nick) Saban’s infrastructure that he implemented there, and then coach (Kalen) DeBoer coming in and keeping that same structure is super real and prepares you for the NFL, better than most colleges, and I fully believe that. I think that anybody who goes through there is going to be NFL-ready.”
After choosing to stay at Alabama instead of entering the transfer portal, Ty Simpson explains why the Crimson Tide’s structure, culture, and NFL-level preparation shaped him into a pro-ready prospect.
