Thompson 2027 wide receiver commits to Louisville

Darion Moseley has announced a verbal commitment to Louisville. He chose the Cardinals over Arkansas, Utah, Vanderbilt and others.

Moseley attends Thompson High School in Alabama, and he is a 2027 recruit. He is excited about his future at Louisville.

“I chose Louisville for their culture and player development,” Moseley said. “Once I stepped foot on campus last year, I was greeted with open arms. They had so much hospitality for me and my mom, just our first time, making it feel like home. This program is building something special every day, and I feel as if I would play a big role in their success in the future.”

Choosing Louisville allows Moseley to play under Deion Branch, who is Louisville’s current wide receiver coach. Branch is a former NFL wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP.

“Coach Branch is a very knowledgeable man,” Moseley told Touchdown Alabama. “He has been in the game for a long time and played at all levels, so I know I can trust in him to help me succeed the plans God has in store for me. I can’t wait for him to pour into me and learn the game more and more every day.”

The Thompson product pulled in 68 receptions for 1,128 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. He recently took home the MVP award at the Under Armour Camp in Georgia. He turned heads with his ability to create separation and play with strength.
