Elijah Haven was back in Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide’s spring game, A-Day, on Saturday.
Haven is a 2027 five-star quarterback out of Dunham High School in Louisiana. He is set to announce a commitment decision on April 25th with Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and others pushing hard for him.
The Crimson Tide has placed itself in a good position with the five-star with the effort they have put into recruiting him for a long time. Haven’s latest visit was another step in the right direction for the Tide.
“It was amazing,” Haven told Touchdown Alabama. “The whole A-Day was great.”
Alabama’s offense made some plays during its spring game, with Keelon Russell and Austin Mack operating at quarterback. Haven liked what he saw and is pumped to see what the Tide looks like on the field during the 2026 season.
“I thought the offense did some great things,” Haven said. “Obviously, they are still putting it together, but it’s only the spring. I am excited to see them in the fall.”
Haven feels the Tide remains in a good position with him ahead of his commitment.
“Alabama is very high in my recruitment,” said Haven
The five-star led Dunham High School to a state championship in 2025, the school’s first state title since 2004. He threw for 3,931 yards and 62 touchdowns as a junior. He also added 794 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
Haven is an effortless thrower of the football with the ability to make all of the throws. He is also an athletic quarterback who is a multi-sport athlete.
