Luke Cody has announced a verbal commitment to Alabama. He chose the Tide over Graceland and Texas State.
Cody is a 2027 kicker out of Lumberton High School in Texas. Kohl’s Kicking ranks Cody as the No. 9 kicker in the nation. He becomes the Tide’s eighth 2027 commit.
“It was the coaches wanting to develop me as well as their hospitality,” Cody said when asked what separated Alabama for him.
The Crimson Tide offered the rising senior last week when he camped in Tuscaloosa. He scheduled an official visit with Alabama soon after.
Cody nailed multiple field goals from more than 40 yards out last season, including a 54-yard field goal.
