BREAKING: Georgia 3-Star Edge commits to Alabama

Tyler Younger has announced a verbal commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide. He chose the Tide over Stanford.

Younger attends Greater Atlanta Christian High School in Georgia, and most recruiting sites consider him to be a three-star recruit. His commitment gives the Tide 10 2027 commits.

Alabama offered Younger earlier this month after he impressed at camp and got him on campus for an official visit over the weekend. During that time, Alabama’s outside linebackers coach Christian Robinson has built a great relationship with the talented edge prospect.

“They are great,” Younger told Touchdown Alabama. “Coach Robinson even showed me why they are best at developing football players and men to reach my full potential.”

At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, Younger is an edge defender who shows strength at the point of attack and flashes an ability to make tackles in space. His backside pursuit also jumps out on film, along with his ability to not stay blocked, with his high motor. He will have an opportunity to line up at the bandit position or at Wolf linebacker if he were to commit to the Tide.
