Alabama football’s Director of Player Development and former Tide safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix feels it is a beautiful thing to see Alabama load up on quarterbacks.
The Crimson Tide currently holds verbal commitment from two quarterbacks in the 2027 recruiting class and two quarterbacks in the 2028 class after signing two quarterbacks during the 2026 cycle. All signs point to quarterback not being a problem in Tuscaloosa anytime soon, and Clinton-Dix sees it as a testament to Kalen DeBoer’s system.
“From a player perspective,” Clinton-Dix posted to X. “Understanding the system, Believing in what it can do for you instead of a play right now mindset, It’s beautiful to see young men make a decision based off their future is amazing.”
DeBoer is building quite the resume when it comes to the quarterback position. His last three starting quarterbacks have all been drafted with two going in the first round. Ty Simpson is the latest to be drafted.
