Former Alabama running back signs with NFC East team

Los Angeles Chargers running back Najee Harris carries the ball against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Former Alabama running back Najee Harris has found his new NFL home.

Harris has signed a one-year deal to join the New York Giants according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This comes one day after Harris took a visit to New York which went well enough to get a deal done.

A former first round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Harris proved himself to be a productive back in the league rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of his first four season.

In  2025, Harris signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent but his tenure with the team would be cut short after tearing his Achilles during Week 3.

He now joins a backfield with the likes of Cam Scattebo and veterans such as Tyron Tracey and Devin Singletary.
