New kickoff time for Florida State vs. Alabama announced

The new kickoff time for the Florida State vs. Alabama game will be 4:15 p.m. CT, and warmups will begin at 3:35 p.m. CT.

This game was supposed to begin at 2:45 p.m. CT, but lightning was detected within eight miles of Bryant-Denny Stadium, leading to a lightning delay that lasted over an hour.

Alabama football fans in attendance erupted when they heard the announcement that lightning has moved away, and the game is set to start in less than an hour.

Florida State at Alabama will air on ABC.
