Alabama left guard Will Sanders underwent a TightRope procedure on his right ankle this weekend, per a report from Yea Alabama.

Sanders appeared to roll his right ankle during the second quarter of Alabama’s 31-20 win over Texas A&M this past weekend. The big man was unable to return following the injury, and reports now confirm that Sanders underwent a procedure on Sunday after exiting the contest.

He is expected to be week to week.

Sanders’ injury is yet another blow to the Crimson Tide’s banged up offensive line. Center Racin Delgatty has been sidelined with a lower body injury since Week 6, and the Alabama run game may very well continue to struggle as the talented duo remains out with injuries.

Sanders will more than likely be unavailable when the Tide travel to Baton Rouge in two weeks, and Kaden Strayhorn may emerge with a starting role after replacing Sanders when he went down against the Aggies.
