Documents reveal shocking details about arrest of Alabama DB Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.

More details about the arrest of Alabama defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. have been released in documents obtained by WBRC.

The defensive back was arrested on Monday on two misdemeanor charges. Those charges were harassing communications and doxing

A University of Alabama Police officer reported that the Alabama defensive back sent him a message on Facebook, demanding the officer text him back, according to a complaint filed in Tuscaloosa County District Court. The message was reportedly described as profane.

The text included, “text me back don’t be not bitch!,” according to the court documents. The officer then went to Kirkpatrick’s Facebook profile, and he saw a picture of himself, his wife and their two children posted with the caption “Dis him?”

“[The officer] stated he was immediately alarmed by the message due to prior involvements with Kirkpatrick in November 2025, during which [the officer] conducted a traffic stop and Kirkpatrick eluded [the officer] and other officers on the scene,” according to a deposition, via WBRC.

Kalen DeBoer revealed Kirkpatrick was not with the Tide at the moment on Monday after he was suspended following his arrest.
