Georgia’s wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley is contemplating whether or not to continue his football career. According to Kevin McGuire of NBC Sports, Scott-Wesley is currently weighing out his options. The 5-foot-11, 201-pound senior left a Georgia practice earlier this month, due to a right knee injury. He sustained a right knee injury (ACL) in 2013 against Tennessee.

Scott-Wesley is pursuing rehab, and determining how his body feels, more information will be gathered on his status. It would be a huge blow to the Bulldogs’ offense if Scott-Wesley leaves.

Scott-Wesley has totaled 498 career receiving yards and four touchdowns on 25 catches.

Georgia returns Malcolm Mitchell, Isaiah McKenzie and Reggie Davis, yet like Scott-Wesley, Mitchell has also dealt with health issues. McKenzie has a positive upside, but for now he is just a sophomore. Davis is a junior; however, he hasn’t been used much in the offense.

With Mitchell healthy and if Scott-Wesley returns, Georgia’s offense has chance to be balanced. If Scott-Wesley leaves and Mitchell remains injury prone, then the Bulldogs will rely heavily on true sophomore running back and preseason Heisman candidate Nick Chubb.

Georgia will face Alabama at Sanford Stadium (Athens, Ga.) on Oct. 3.
