Alabama OL Amari Kight became the fifth Crimson Tide offensive lineman to hit the NCAA transfer portal on Monday. Sources confirmed to Touchdown Alabama’s Stephen M. Smith that Kight hit the portal.

Kight, who joined Alabama in the 2019 recruiting cycle, primarily served as a reserve lineman for the Crimson Tide through his four seasons in the program.

During his redshirt junior season in 2022, Kight appeared in all 12 games mainly on special teams but saw offensive snaps against ULM, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, LSU, Ole Miss and Austin Peay.

Kight is now the 12th Alabama player to enter the transfer portal this year as he joins defensive lineman Braylen Ingraham, kicker Jack Martin, running back Trey Sanders, defensive back Khyree Jackson, offensive lineman Damieon George, Tanner Bowles, Javion Cohen, Tommy Brockermeyer and wide receivers Christian Leary, Traeshon Holden and JoJo Earle.
