A high school football program in the state of Alabama is about to become interesting.
Pell City hired Rush Propst, a coach with a controversial history, as its head coach. It has also added two University of Alabama alums to its defensive staff. Nick Gentry and Courtney Upshaw helped the Crimson Tide to BCS National Championships.

Upshaw was a star outside linebacker while Gentry provided toughness and energy on the defensive line.
Gentry will serve as defensive coordinator for Pell City and Upshaw will be the defensive line coach.

We will see what becomes of Pell City with having a couple of former national champions.
