The University of Alabama acquired two talented offensive players from the NCAA transfer portal for this team.
After the Crimson Tide earned its first victory of the football season, one of the players weighed in on the atmosphere inside Bryant-Denny Stadium against Middle Tennessee State. CJ Dippre, a transfer from Maryland, played in his first matchup for Alabama as a tight end. He caught a pass for five yards, but he celebrated with quarterback Jalen Milroe on his rushing touchdowns. Dippre helped the Tide to a 56-7 victory over the Blue Raiders and enjoyed the energy from the fans.
