Alabama football has been letting naysayers know since the Texas game.

People wrote the Crimson Tide off after its loss to the Longhorns, but it sits at 8-1 and in control of the SEC West.

Nick Saban has had to grow with this Tide team, but the players have bought in.

Alabama played its most complete game Saturday night versus Louisiana State University at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tide’s defense helped Jayden Daniels and LSU’s offense to seven points in the second half. Alabama earned a 42-28 victory, giving Coach Saban the ultimate present for his 72nd birthday. Some in national media are changing their tune on the Tide, including Joel Klatt of Fox Sports. He sees this Alabama team as a Southeastern Conference Champion and gives kudos to Saban on a wonderful coaching job this year. A victory over Kentucky (this week) or Auburn gives the Tide an SEC West Division title.

Alabama is handling business and peaking at the right time for a College Football Playoff opportunity.
