Ty Haywood has announced a verbal commitment to Alabama football.
The five-star offensive lineman is a product of Ryan High School in Denton, Texas. His commitment gives the Crimson Tide five 2025 offensive lineman commits.
Haywood is a massive offensive tackle for Ryan High School (TX) at 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds. His strength and size allow him to physically dominate most high school defensive linemen. He seems to have a great understanding of a wide variety of blocking assignments. He has shown the ability to be effective in pass protection, zone blocking and combo blocking. He also appears comfortable blocking in space with his ability to get to the second level.
