Nick Saban’s pay revealed for new role

Nick Saban’s pay for his new role with Alabama Athletics has been revealed. 

According to Nick Kelly of the Tuscaloosa News, Saban officially started his new position with Alabama on March 1 as his title went from head coach to “professional”.

Saban will have an office in Bryant-Denny Stadium, replacing his office in the Mal Moore Athletic facility. He will be making $500,000,04 annually.

The University of Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne described Saban’s new role with the program as an “advisor” position.

Saban will also be a part of ESPN’s College GameDay team. As an analyst for ESPN, he will also cover events such as SEC media days and the NFL draft.
