Alabama fans were severely disappointed with the Crimson Tide’s loss to Vanderbilt.
Former players for the Tide were more upset.

Several guys acted in disgust on social media as they could not believe how the Commodores handled Alabama. Vanderbilt earned a 40-35 victory over the weekend, its fans stormed the field, and they trolled Nick Saban with a video on the Jumbotron.
Marquis Maze, a former Alabama wide receiver, was pissed on X. The two-time BCS National Champion in 2009 and 2011 said “this sh** is totally unacceptable at Alabama.” He said the players and coaches better understand this right now.

Maze is also not feeling the 4-2-5 defense with Kane Wommack and wants to change things.
Honestly after last week at halftime I knew we would lose if our offense not clicking. We definitely gotta change some things defensively that 4-2-5 doesn’t work in the SEC! Some of these coaches need to listen and stop acting like they are great because they coached at South Al

We are seeing more alums welcomed back to the University of Alabama to provide their input. Now, it would be a time to take Maze’s thoughts into consideration to improve. Alabama looks to pick up the pieces and regroup for South Carolina.
