Jeff Hanisch - USA Today Sports

Alabama’s defense has one of its edge-rushing linebackers at full strength again.

Qua Russaw, a redshirt freshman, is no longer on a pitch count.

He was listed as the starting “Wolf” linebacker on the Crimson Tide’s depth chart for Saturday’s rivalry matchup versus Tennessee. Russaw, a former five-star, suffered a lower leg injury against Wisconsin and had been on a pitch count since then.

The 6-foot-2, 251-pounder is healthy and ready to show out. Russaw has 16 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, a quarterback hurry, and a forced fumble in six games. He has an opportunity to affect Volunteers’ quarterback Nico Iamaleava and stuff running back Dylan Sampson. After being held back in the last two weeks, Russaw is prepared to cut it loose on defense.
