Alabama football will be without the services of their starting safety, Keon Sabb after Kalen DeBoer said the sophomore is out indefinitely ahead of their home matchup with the Missouri Tigers.
The defensive back had been having a productive inaugural season at Alabama since transferring from Michigan in February, totaling two interceptions, four pass deflections and 24 solo tackles in seven contest. Sabb originally appeared on Alabama’s SEC availability report and was a game-time decision prior to exiting the game versus Tennessee. DeBoer commented on Sabb’s status on Monday.
“Keon Sabb has a lower extremity injury,” DeBoer said. “We do expect him to be down for a while”.
The Alabama staff will now be faced with retooling the secondary in the wake of Sabb’s injury ahead of their game against Missouri.
