Alabama extended an offer to 2026 four-star interior offensive lineman Micah Smith on Friday evening.
Smith plays for Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Florida. He is listed at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds. Smith played both sides of the ball during his junior season.
Thus far, Smith has received 47 offers. He has taken 18 unofficial visits to schools like Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Ohio State, and Miami. Alabama will certainly push to get Smith on campus this spring or in the fall for an official visit.
With Alabama losing multiple interior offensive linemen next season to the NFL, it makes sense for the coaching staff to heavily pursue Smith. He has the ideal size for a college offensive lineman heading into his senior season. In addition, he plays with physicality and intensity. Smith finished blocks at ease and would be a force ip front for whichever school he chooses to sign with.
