Alabama football appeared to be sitting in a great position with Jorden Edmonds when he confirmed his commitment date was set for Feb. 19.
Edmonds has now pushed his decision back and will have an opportunity to mull over his decision a bit longer.
The junior attends Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia, and he garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites. He will choose between Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Tennessee if he sticks with his original top five before making a decision.
The Crimson Tide offered the four-star in March of 2024 which has allowed them to build a relationship with him for almost a year.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is a long and athletic defensive back. He is projected to play cornerback at the next level as he signed there for Sprayberry with his length.
