Cale Britt walked away from the University of Alabama with an offer from the Crimson Tide after camping in front of the Tide’s coaching staff.
Britt is a 2028 linebacker prospect, and he attends Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Florida. Most recruiting sites currently consider him to be a four-star recruit, and his offer list includes previous offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and others. Britt considers his Alabama offer to be a product of the work he has put in.
“It means all my hard work is paying off,” Britt told Touchdown Alabama. “Alabama is an elite football school where I can get a great education, also.”
The Florida product considers the chance to play under the Tide’s inside linebacker coach Chuck Morrell in Tuscaloosa to be a great opportunity.
“Alabama is a true blue blood,” Britt said. “You have to be hungry to play if you go there. Coach Chuck is a great guy and a very knowledgeable football coach. It would be fantastic to learn from him.”
The 6-foot-3, 212-pounder is an athletic linebacker who can play in space at a high level. He takes great angles to the football in pursuit of ball carriers, and Britt feels his ability to defend the pass as a linebacker is among his biggest strengths.
“I play physical and can get side line to side line with anyone,” said Britt
