Alabama standing out to 4-Star wide receiver looking to narrow recruitment down

Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK

Maximus Curry is looking to narrow his choices down soon with a few schools really standing out to him.

Curry is a 2028 four-star wide receiver out of Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee. He holds more than 25 D1 offers and will like to get a better feel for which schools he is going to heavily consider moving forward.

“A lot of schools been reaching out, and I’m kinda trying to narrow it down right now to the ones who’s doing the best job,” Curry said.

Alabama is among the programs really standing out to the four-star.

”Definitely Tennessee, Alabama and Miami,” Curry said when asked which schools are really standing out to him.

The Crimson Tide’s coaching staff is working on building a relationship with Curry, and it has the wide receiver feeling good about Alabama.

“The relationship definitely pretty tight right now, especially because some of the coaches know my head coach, and they just hit me up every day, sending me different messages, trying to make sure I’m good and stuff like that,” said Curry. “So, that’s just really important to me.”

At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Curry is an explosive weapon at wide receiver, who reports a 4.36 forty. He uses the this speed to get behind the defenders and take the tip off a defense and to be a dangerous weapon after the catch.
