Alabama football notched a 35-13 win over Tennessee last week and rain forced the Crimson Tide indoors to begin its first session of work for Arkansas. Nick Saban and company will host the Razorbacks for homecoming on Saturday inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, as ESPN will air the contest at 6:00 p.m.
Despite the Hogs having a 2-5 record, Saban is trying to prepare his team — especially at quarterback — to play a complete game in front of the home crowd. Aside from a couple of missed assignments, he felt like Alabama gave a strong effort on offense and defense and was pleased the effort of Ty Perine in the punting game versus the Volunteers.

After getting the injury updates on Tua Tagovailoa (ankle) and Will Reichard (hip), Saban said neither of the two will play this week and it will be interesting to see how quickly can Tagovailoa heal from ankle surgery.
Listed below are a couple of notes from a very short period on Monday.
