Things did not work out with the New York Jets, but he’s found a new team.
Former Alabama outside linebacker, Jamey Mosley is very resilient. He worked two years as a walk-on for the Crimson Tide, before earning an athletic scholarship in the summer of 2016.

A native of Theodore, Ala., Mosley would be a big part of Alabama’s 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship team as he was called upon to step up linebacker. During a season of injuries at that position, he totaled 13 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, two quarterback pressures and one pass breakup. Although he would total just eight tackles in the following year, Mosley doesn’t regret the road he took to get to the National Football League.
He was not selected through seven rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft and the Jets signed Mosley as an undrafted free agent.
After two different stints with the team, he was released on Nov. 25.
On Wednesday, he was signed to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
For a team building toward the future, the Cardinals could use an instinctive, physical presence as an edge rusher. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, Mosley has the work ethic to emerge and maybe crack the 53-man roster next year. He has a second opportunity and he looks to make his own name in the league – opposite his superstar older brother, C.J. Mosley of the Jets.
