Alabama football has only one major injury (Jaylen Waddle, right ankle) through six games, but it does have a few players with bumps and bruises.

The bye week came a perfect time for the Crimson Tide, following its 41-0 victory over Mississippi State.

During its matchup with the Bulldogs, Alabama did not have Marcus Banks (cornerback) or LaBryan Ray (elbow) participate on defense.

The group of Miller Forristall, Phidarian Mathis, Malachi Moore, Slade Bolden and Brian Robinson were all banged up.

According to Nick Saban, the Tide has a lot of guys that need to get healed up.

“Marcus Banks pulled a hamstring, but it is not that bad,” Saban said. “Miller Forristall was back in the game, but he’s a little banged up. So is Slade Bolden… Malachi Moore got a stinger at the end of the game.”

Robinson only had two carries versus the Bulldogs. Alabama decided to spot play him, but provide more opportunities to Trey Sanders.

Sanders, a former five-star, totaled 80 yards rushing on 12 carries and Saban was pleased.

With a trip to face the LSU Tigers set for next week, Saban is focused on getting these guys rested up.

Alabama is now 6-0 on the season.
