TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– Upon the end of a dominant performance in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game in Atlanta, one of Alabama’s stars received a huge honor on Sunday.
Ryan Anderson got an invitation to participate in the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. The annual event at Ladd-Peebles Stadium is a rite of passage for collegiate athletes in an attempt to impress NFL scouts.
Anderson, a native of Daphne, Ala., grew up 20 minutes from the venue, and is projected as a first-round pick heading into next year’s draft. He leads the Crimson Tide in tackles for loss (16.5), while having 50 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and three pass breakups.
Anderson collected three total tackles in Alabama’s 54-16 win over the Gators.
