Saban Believes Recruiting Websites Create Unrealistic Expectations

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

College football recruiting is very competitive and is such a huge part of the game. This has enabled college recruiting websites to thrive. Fans feen for recruiting news and want to know who are the next big names in college football.

Nick Saban believes that recruiting websites that rank players create unrealistic expectations and those expectations play a huge role in player’s decision to transfer. Saban expressed his feelings during his press conference on Tuesday.

What Nick Saban REALLY thinks about players that transfer and their "unrealistic reailty"

Alabama has seen its fair share of transfer during the Saban era. A lack of playing time played a huge role in many of those decisions. The unrealistic expectations that Saban spoke of causes many of these guys to feel underappreciated during their time in Tuscaloosa.

Nevertheless, Saban has proven that hard work and player development outweighs any instant evaluations and you can bet he will not be looking at any stars or rankings anytime soon.
