The Thompson Warriors dominant defensive performance will them to a 37-13 win over Hewitt-Trussville in the second round of the AHSAA 7-A playoffs.
Thompson’s defense limited Paul Tyson and the Husky Fast offense to 13 points. They forced Tyson to throw 3 interceptions and Taulia Tagovailoa and the offense took care of the rest. Tagovailoa threw two touchdown passes and ran one in.
Thompson will play Hoover in the third round next week.
