Anderson is a 2022 defensive back out of Beaumont, Texas,. The Texas product now holds a total of nine Division 1 offers after receiving offers from Georgia and Alabama on Saturday. Anderson said he was surprised to get an offer from the Tide this early in the recruitment process.

“It is an amazing feeling to get the offer so early in the recruiting process and it just feels great to hold an offer from one of the biggest programs in the country,” Anderson said.

Nick Saban continues to do work on the recruiting trail by extending offers to recruits after they performed great at camp. Anderson received his offer no differently as Saban was the one, who told him of his offer from the Tide. The veteran coach also broke down to Anderson what the University of Alabama has to offer its student-athletes.

“I went into his office and we had a talk,” Andrson said. “He told me he was extending me an Offer and that they were going to keep recruiting me as hard as possible. He told me about the campus and talked about academics then he talked about athletics and how he liked how I played on Saturday.”

Anderson was able to show his ability to jump routes and turn interceptions into pick-sixes during his freshman season. West Brook High School lined up Anderson at safety. The 2022 prospect also spent some time at quarterback and was able to show he has a decent arm and speed in open space.

Saban told Anderson he was impressed with the way he moved at camp.

“He (Saban) said I have great range & great feet,” Anderson said.

It is still early in Anderson’s recruitment and his offer list will grow, but he has one box on his checklist, he wants to be filled when looking at a potential school and the Tide have that box checked.

“I love the success they have had over the years and I do not see it changing,” Anderson said. “I think bama will always be on top, and one thing I am looking at in my decision-making process is the success the school is having.”
