Former Tide player Matt Caddell names Henry Ruggs the ‘most complete’ WR in the NFL Draft

Brian Spurlock - USA TODAY Sports

No matter what qualities you are looking for at wide receiver, teams will find exactly what they need in this year’s NFL Draft.

The trio of Jerry Jeudy, Ceedee Lamb and Henry Ruggs III are the top three players at the position.

While all three were superstars in college, it will be fun to see who comes off the board first and which one will immediately make an impact at the next level.

On Wednesday, former Alabama receiver Matt Caddell returned to In My Own Words with yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine.

He really likes Jeudy and Lamb, but Caddell compared Ruggs to Tyreek Hill (Kansas City Chiefs) and Deebo Samuel (San Francisco 49ers).

The hero of the 2007 victory over Arkansas also views Ruggs as potentially the ‘most complete’ receiver in the draft. He gave his thoughts on Jalen Hurts and what he expects to see from Alabama’s receivers and defensive backs in the fall.
