USC AD revokes season tickets from booster due to insensitive tweets about minorities

via: Richard Mackson USA Today Sports

There is no place in the world to approach hate with hate, and USC athletic director has zero tolerance for this sort of rhetoric.

On Monday, Bohn issued a statement on twitter informing his followers and the college football world that USC had revoked season tickets from one of its boosters due to insensitive tweets in regards to minorities.

The statement read:

“Last night we were made aware of abhorrent and blatantly racist tweets from an individual who identified as a USC Football Booster. Following an immediate investigation into the matter, we informed the individual that their season ticket and Trojan Athletic Fund membership privileges have been revoked and their payments will be promptly returned. Their account has been flagged in our system to prevent future purchases.

“Thank you to the USA community for helping us identify this individual so that we could move swiftly to terminate our relationship. We stand in solidarity with the Black Community.”

The boosters tweets were made in regards to the recent protests and riots throughout the country which began in Minneapolis.

Below are the tweets the booster made.

NSFW WARNING.

The Trojans are set to take on Alabama on Sept. 5 at AT&T Stadium and this booster will rightfully not be in attendance.
